Ready or Not...
The other day I was playing hide-and-seek with my daughter, niece and nephew, and I heard that special phrase that strikes fear in the heart of a big man trying to hide in a small room – “Ready or not, here I come!”
Well, ready or not, here comes the 2009-10 school year! I’m sure that many, if not all, of you have been busy planning Back-to-School events, trying to brainstorm ideas for the first few weeks of school, etc. As we have learned at Warrior Leadership Summit, we are not alone in this fight, and we shouldn’t each have to re-invent the wheel as we work for the Lord.
If you look under “Leader’s Forum”, and then “General Discussion”, you will see a new topic. It’s simply called “Back-to-School/Fall Event Ideas”, and it’s for just that. Some of you may have everything planned out and don’t need any help (okay everyone, stop laughing…). However, there are many who probably can still use some good ideas for events, Bible studies, and whatever else might be coming up. So, hey, take a few moments, jot down what has worked for you, and let’s see if we can make this the best school year yet with the help of each other!
