A Life of Faithfulness
Sometimes it’s hard to put into words what is happening here at WLS because WLS is multifaceted. There are all kinds of things happening, sometimes simultaneously. One of the things we do is bring in some of the Native Christian leaders from the ministry world and the secular world. These are all Native Christian men and women who have walked with God and have learned lessons in their life and they help teach workshops called Battle Councils for our youth. Some of them are very serious, and some are a little more lighthearted.

Liberation Time - Update From Ron Hutchcraft
The most common response of the Native Christian adults who are here at Warrior Leadership Summit is that they are overwhelmed. They have lived their whole lives knowing only a handful, at best, of Native young people who had any allegiance to Jesus Christ. They know how very, very rare it is for a Native young person to love and serve Jesus Christ. To be in a room with over six hundred Native young people from seventy-six nations who are lifting their voices in praise to God, and are responding so visibly to the Word of God, and to the call of Christ on their lives, is absolutely overwhelming.
In fact, I keep the handkerchief handy myself because there are many very moving moments here. These Native Christian adults tell us the significance by their tears and by their inability to find words to express their joy and excitement. They are the ones who tell us how significant and how historic this gathering is because they have lived on the reservation; they know there’s nothing like this. We thank God for this singular gathering of nations, and the gathering of the next generation of so many nations.

A Personal Independence Day
Update From Ron Hutchcraft
At Warrior Leadership Summit, we had the very best kind of fireworks you could possibly have on the 4th of July—spiritual fireworks. At the end of day one was a chance to present to the young people here from so many nations, exactly what Jesus Christ did because He loves us so much. We’ll come back to that in a minute.
When the public invitation was given, one young lady responded, who is from what has been described as the most violent reservation in America. I knew when I met her that there was a lot going on, because of her desperate tears and almost uncontrollable agonizing over some things. We learned later, as two of our young ladies from On Eagles’ Wings talked with her personally, how drug-damaged she is from extensive meth use and crack cocaine. We learned of sexual addictions and even evident demonic battles going on in her life. Last night, after much time together, there were some tremendous spiritual breakthroughs because of the power of Jesus Christ and I can tell you that chains came off last night for that young woman. She is breaking free!

A Life of Freedom
Greetings once again from WLS 2008. We’re really into our second full day of WLS with our theme called Breaking Free and I’ll tell you what, that is exactly what we’re seeing happening here at WLS 2008.
We heard Ron give a powerful Gospel message. He told me as he was getting ready for it and we were praying together before the service, that he’s never preached an evangelistic message from the book of Genesis. He did a tremendous job as he unfolded the truth about God’s pursuit of us before we ever come to Him, like God pursued Adam and Eve when they were hiding from Him in the garden. It was awesome because God used Ron in a very powerful way to share the truth of the Gospel, and because of that we had over ninety young people come forward to an altar of prayer, and make a spiritual decision for Jesus Christ. Some of them came and began a personal relationship with Christ. Others came and were freed from past bondages of disobedience, and there was genuine tearful repentance in the hearts and in the lives of many Native young people. It was incredibly powerful.
