Foundation Advocacy Program
The Foundation advocate program is established to help direct foundation resources to RHM to reach Native America with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This program will assist both “heart match” foundations and RHM accomplish their mission statements.
Who should be involved as an advocate?
If you have an established personal or family foundation or serve on a foundation’s Board of Directors, or are closely aligned with individuals involved with a foundation that focuses on reaching the lost, please prayerfully consider this program. There are many foundations whose mission is very close or a direct match with the kingdom work of RHM’s Native American ministry and most are unknown to RHM. RHM is seeking your help to let us know of the foundation’s potential availability and to serve as an RHM advocate.
What are an advocate’s responsibilities?
- Provide RHM with contact information for the foundation in your sphere of influence.
- Email the necessary foundation information (i.e. your relationship with the foundation and the foundation’s website) so we can make proper application to the foundation, etc.
- Become a personal reference for RHM to the decision makers of the foundation.
- Assist (if necessary) in getting RHM’s application for funds reviewed by the foundation.
What is the process from the time RHM is informed of a foundation?
- RHM will review the foundation’s guidelines and areas of interest and support.
- If the foundation’s guidelines allow RHM to submit a proposal, RHM will submit a proposal to the foundation per the foundation’s guidelines.
- RHM will inform you that a proposal has been submitted and at that time we request you contact the foundation to help insure the proposal is reviewed in a timely manner and, if possible, approved by the decision making group.
