On Eagles' Wings utilizes a variety of methods in order to minister to the people. Each year, On Eagles' Wings hosts a conference called "Warrior Leadership Summit." The mission of the conference is to equip and empower Native and First Nations young people to be world changers for Jesus Christ. Conference attendance has grown to over 500 Native American and First Nations young people.
Conference attendees have the opportunity:
- to be part of large group praise and teaching sessions called Warrior Councils;
- to attend seminars and workshops on specific issues related to Native and First Nations people called Battle Councils;
- to network and build relationships in a Christian environment with other Native and First Nations young people;
- to have fun through daily recreation times where various athletic tournaments are held, including basketball, skateboarding, volleyball, water games, and floor hockey as well as late night activities;
- to speak with trained counselors for people dealing with various life issues; and
- to hear from respected Native Christian elders and learn from their stories of hope and faith in Jesus Christ
Immediately after the annual Warrior Leadership Summit conference, On Eagles' Wings takes ministry teams of Native young people onto reservations across North America through the month of July. This outreach ministry is called "Summer of Hope" and has been used by God to bring healing and hope to many Native and First Nations people throughout North America.
During these unique outreach experiences, the young Native and First Nations people use various sports, Christian music, games, and food to attract a crowd and then share how Jesus Christ has given them hope and changed their lives.
They invite people to make a public commitment to Jesus Christ and Native and First Nations people make personal decisions for Jesus Christ through this Summer of Hope tour.
